Noble Financial brings money managers, corporate CEOs together

From Sun Sentinel

t's the biggest party right in your backyard that you've never heard of. For the past nine years, Noble Financial Capital Markets has played upscale matchmaker to hundreds of prominent Wall Street money managers and top brass from companies seeking long-term investors.

And while such equity conferences are common, the Boca Raton-based boutique firm prides itself on delivering an experience, proudly dubbed "the ultimate adventure in capitalism," by Mark Pinvidic, Noble's managing partner and chief party planner.

There was the time participants were motorcoached south to take high-speed turns around the Homestead Miami Speedway in Porsches provided by the automaker, a conference sponsor that year.

One year, the adventure included late-night windboat excursions on the Everglades.

"There [was] a place where there was dinner, food stations, alligators, girls serving beers and pool tables," said Robert Finizio, whose firm, TherapeuticsMD, a women's health products company also based in Boca Raton, has been a featured presenter at a Noble conference.

"Most conferences you go to," he said, "all it is is people in suits doing presentations all day, and then you get lost in Manhattan at night."

Last year, Noble arranged police escorts with sirens blasting and took the party to Fort Lauderdale's Riverwalk, where they were greeted by kilt-clad bagpipe players, treated to a live band, open bar, stilt walkers, a fleet of gourmet food trucks and four megayachts for an evening of sophisticated schmoozing.

For the upcoming meeting, Pinvidic has moved the party from the Hard Rock, where it has convened for the past four years, to the all-inclusive Club Med in Port St. Lucie. The Noble Financial Tenth Annual Equity Conference — "Noble 10," as it's being billed — has been expanded from its two-day format to three and a half days and transformed into a family affair, as the firm takes exclusive possession of the resort property January 19-23.
