Sancilio and Company, Inc. (SCI) is a biopharmaceutical company focused on Advanced Lipid Technology™ (ALT) and complimentary products. Unlike most research stage companies, SCI has developed a portfolio of commercialized products that are developed, manufactured and distributed by its own dedicated people in their own cGMP manufacturing facilities. The company is building all the necessary systems, facilities and expertise to allow them to maximize the value of its robust research pipeline that includes highly concentrated essential fatty acids, improvements to bioavailablility of these and other products.
Headquartered in Palm Beach County, Florida, the company's research laboratories are staffed with highly qualified and experienced scientists, and fully-operational cGMP (current good manufacturing practices) facility enable them to manufacture products that are then sold through domestic and international distribution channels. The SCI team currently consists of approximately 110 employees, five of whom hold a Ph.D. or an M.D.
