Noble, FAU and MobileHelp™ Partner to Bring Top Students to Noble Financial's NobleCon12

Marketwired - December 07, 2015

Noble Financial Capital Markets (Noble), Florida Atlantic University's College of Business (FAU) and MobileHelp announced today that they have sponsored forty students from FAU to attend NobleCon12; Noble Financial's 12th Annual Emerging Growth Investor Conference to be held at Club Med, Sandpiper Bay (45 minutes north of Florida's Palm Beach International Airport) January 17-20, 2016.

In cooperation with FAU, and with the generous financial support of Boca Raton-based MobileHelp, students from the FAU MSF Finance, Financial Analyst and the Executive & Professional MBA Programs will attend the entire NobleCon12 conference. To qualify, students of the Programs were given 40 statements relating to 40 of the 150 companies that will present at NobleCon12. They then had to match the statement with the company. The first 40 high-score submissions were selected to attend the Conference.

"Over the years we have worked very closely with the University, and in particular Dr. Rainford Knight from the Department of Finance," said Mark Pinvidic, Noble's Managing Partner. "He is always looking for innovative ways to advance the student experience and welcomed the opportunity when we presented it to him." The FAU Financial Equity Analyst Program was created by Dr. Knight with the input and ongoing support of Noble and its Director of Research, Michael Kupinski. Noble has had an active Intern Program since its creation and has employed several graduates of the Program.

"I have attended NobleCon for years and I view the event as the preeminent showcase for emerging growth companies; I would stack it up against even the biggest in the United States," said Dr. Knight. "We have had a handful of students attend in the past and I am absolutely thrilled to have such a large number going to NobleCon12. It's great to see companies like Noble and MobileHelp support the community to this level," he added.

Located in the Research Park at FAU, MobileHelp is a developer and manufacturer of medical alert systems. Recently ranked number 90 in the "Fastest Growing Companies in North America" on Deloitte's 2015 Technology Fast 500, the innovative company offers a mobile alternative to the current medical alert devices on the market through GPS and cellular technology. The company also provides health-focused features and applications to allow its customers to combine the personal safety of a medical alert device with options for better health management -- in one system.

"As part of the University community, we were honored to have the opportunity to be part of this initiative," said Rob Flippo, CEO of MobileHelp. "Sponsoring these students' attendance at NobleCon is an investment in the future of our collective business environment."

NobleCon12 will feature 150 corporate executive teams and 350 investment professionals, with overall attendance topping 700. In addition to formal presentations and one-on-meeting, the conference offers assigned seating lunches and dinners, panel presentations and workshops, and numerous networking functions. The all-inclusive Club Med will be closed to all other guests for the four days and three nights of the Conference.
