Head of M&A, Managing Director - Investment Banking

Noble Capital Markets (www.noblecapitalmarkets.com) is seeking a highly experienced and driven Managing Director or Senior Director to step up into a role as Head of M&A, Managing Director in our Investment Banking division, with a primary focus on Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A). We’re building a highly focused M&A advisory platform, both in the U.S. and internationally.. We are looking for someone with strong execution DNA and deep experience in $50–$500M deals who’s ready to step into more leadership, origination, and upside. The right person has an entrepreneurial mindset and a passion for growing his/her practice, and is likely already doing the job but stuck in a flat structure or at a firm where the culture is not a fit.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and execution of M&A advisory services for clients across various sectors in the U.S. including cross-border transactions for lower-middle market and middle-market companies.
- Originate new business opportunities and expand existing client relationships through proactive outreach and networking.
- Manage all phases of M&A transactions, including valuation, due diligence, preparation of CIM, negotiation, and deal structuring.
- Collaborate closely with senior management and the business development function to develop strategic growth plans for the M&A division.
- Build, mentor, and lead a talented team of investment banking professionals.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal standards throughout all deal activities.
- Represent Noble Capital Markets at industry events, conferences, and client meetings to enhance firm visibility and reputation.
Qualifications:
- Proven senior-level experience having led 5–15 full-cycle M&A deals.
- Extensive network within the corporate and financial community.
- Strong analytical, financial modeling, and valuation skills.
- Exceptional leadership and team management capabilities.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and client relationship skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field; MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.
